Facility

A best-in-class facility has been set up in an eight acre site located in Village Gondpur Jaichand Nichla, Tehsil Haroli, Una (Himachal Pradesh). A modern, progressive set-up, exceeding international specifications, the facility is in a naturally bio-secure site and is environmentally friendly.

The site is approximately 1.8 km from a metalled road and at an elevation of 452 m above MSL. Nearby townships are Tahliwal, Garhshankar, Santokhgarh, Nangal and Una.

The site is a shallow valley that gently slopes from the west to east and drops about 8 m over the entire length of the site. The site is naturally bio-secure.

 

Facility Design & Layout

The facility is broadly classified into three zones:

1. Technical zone

2. Administration/service zone houses the production offices, admin offices warehouses, engineering support, product packaging & finished goods stores and the access control area, which includes showering in facilities.

3. Residential zone comprises accommodation for essential staff.

Access to the facility is through a single main gate. There is a second access for litter removal, which remains locked at all, times. The internal roads are designated as “clean” and “dirty” roads
